Kid Village
Kid Village is a complimentary offering of We the Land! that provides supervised childcare in a safe and engaging environment. Children can enjoy free play, guided activities, educational experiences, games, and outdoor adventures designed to make their time at the gathering fun and enriching.
All ages are welcome to enjoy Kid Village alongside their parents or caregivers; however, supervised drop-off care is available only for children ages 5 and up.
Features of the Space
Outdoor Activities: Children can enjoy supervised outdoor play in designated areas. Activities may include exploring nature, interacting with plants, and other outdoor experiences that encourage curiosity and movement. Covered areas ensure activities continue in case of rain.
Creative Expression: Children are invited to explore art, crafts, and hands-on activities, working with a variety of age-appropriate materials to express their creativity.
Relaxation & Conversation: Comfortable areas for elders and parents to sit.
Accessibility: Easy access for elders using mobility aids and for parents with strollers.
Snacks & Refreshments: Light snacks and beverages are available for children and adults.
*Please be aware that Kid Village is a complimentary offering of We the Land! to support parents and caregivers to participate in workshops. Parents are expected to check in with their child in between workshops.
